About the Hidden Ireland Tours

The concept behind the Hidden Ireland Tours grew out of close friendships between Irish guides, Con Moriarty and Ann Curran and American travel agent, Binky Oswalt.

For more than quarter of a century, their uniquely personalised walking and cultural tours of Ireland have earned a distinct reputation among the most discerning travellers to the Emerald Isle.

Con Moriarty grew up in one of the world's most beautiful places and the riches of the natural and cultural history of his land inspired him since childhood.

The Gap of Dunloe is a wild place, located in the heart of County Kerry in the South West of Ireland. It is a region rugged mountains and wild coastlines lake-valleys and ancient woodlands, islands and fertile plains. It is a place where the power of nature is evident everywhere and overlaying this natural history is a one of the richest stories of human history in the world.

Binky Oswalt grew up in Mobile, Alabama. Ancestral links with Ireland and a career in travel, allowed her the opportunity to connect with the Emerald Isle. It has been a rich relationship that she has engaged with passionately and over two decades, she has provided the first connection for those in North America who want to know our Ireland. The work is a vocation for Binky, as she gives here incredible attention to detail to ensure a most memorable experience for those lucky enough to know the Hidden Ireland.
