Rock Climbing

Our company was forged from a love of climbing, on the mountain crags of home at the Gap of Dunloe, on the shapely ridges of the Reeks and beyond into the remote valleys of the southwest and on the walls and pinnacles of our Atlantic coastlines, exploring and often opening new routes.
Climbing & Abseiling in the Gap of Dunloe
In the early 1980’s, Con Moriarty was at the forefront of of the development of rock climbing in his native Gap of Dunloe. Today, hundreds of recorded climbs in the pass combine to make the Gap one of Ireland’s great climbing venues, with routes spanning grades of severity. Rock climbing here with Con or taking an adrenaline hit from a mega-abseil off one of the big cliffs in this wild region is a memorable experience.
Dingle Sea-Cliff Climbing
Stunning, clean sandstone sea-cliffs at remote locations on the Dingle Peninsula have been developed by local climbers over the past twenty five years or so, including the first sports climbing developed in Ireland, developed on big walls at remote locations on the northern side of the peninsula by Con Moriarty and friends. Training and climbing in small groups at these incredible sites is open to all, ranging from beginner to moderate.
